Crowns and Bridges
Veneers and crowns are utilized to protect a damaged tooth surface. Teeth that are cracked or broken with little tooth structure left require full coverage with a crown. These restorations are made out of porcelain, gold or a combination of both. They are used to support the tooth and help prevent fractures in teeth that have severe decay, large old fillings, root canals, or are chipped or worn. When teeth are structurally compromised, these lab-fabricated restorations provide a stable bite and enhance esthetics.
For missing teeth, bridges or partial dentures are an option when an implant is not feasible.
